I like weekends. I would like them better if they were longer.
I think adding an extra day to every week that was devoted to catching up on everything would make my life so much easier. Then my desk would get cleaned off, my laundry would get put away, my blog would get updated, my taxes would get done, and I would still have time to write.
How would you spend your catch-up day?

I would clean up my shelf that has notes from four different manuscripts. Rewire an electric switch, take the recycling to where it needs to be taken…the list goes on.
I’m curious how you got a Google friend Connect to load on your wordpress blog. I’ve tried to do this but haven’t been successful.

Paul: Technical questions are not my strong point, and I know it took me awhile to figure out how to do this, even though it probably shouldn’t have been all that difficult. I believe I went to this address: http://www.google.com/friendconnect then copied and pasted some sort of code for adding the widget and just added it to a text widget on my sidebar. Hope this helps!
Thanks, Alissa. I’ll give this a try. Maybe they’ve updated the code so it works. I think you are light years ahead of me in terms of technical stuff:-)
Thanks again.

I’d catch up on paperwork for the day job, do housework, and take naps.

I would catch up on the dishes that have piled in my sink all week while I’ve been writing!
Faith: I hear you! Who has time for dishes, when there are novels to write?
Good question! I would try and make a dent in the ever growing stack of books I bring home from the library every day.

Sam: That was always the one dangerous thing about working at the library. I used to wind up with stacks of books that looked interesting.
My problem with catch up days is that I would rather spend the time writing or reading, and not catching up on all the things I have to do.
Angie: Good point, that’s what I end up doing on the days when I should be catching up on other stuff!
